I definitely feel more prepared to enter the world of politics and policy after graduation.  In Washington D.C., it is a rite of passage to be an intern and even the most prominent government officials interned “back in the day.”  The experience I gained and the connections I made are invaluable.  I feel confident that I will have job opportunities in the city after I graduate.
